[For Hire] Marketing and SEO

My name is Zack Frederick and I started doing marketing several years ago as i began my first yoga ‘e-business', realising very quickly that the difference between me and the next John Doe wasn’t the product but the presentation. So I set about, by trial and error, learning how I could sell more Yoga mats than John Doe. It wasn’t long before I realised I was very good at the marketing aspect, and I didn’t really like things like warehousing and distribution.
Today I’m most interested in building reports, designing paid campaigns and helping with Instagram.
I’ve compiled a few free tips for general marketing and SEO.

Brand awareness

First off. Influencers will not magically make your website successful. You have to be your own influencer. Over my tenor, I have spent thousands on social media analysis, rebranding and learning tricks like sticking state names across American products or even changing the colour of my website depending on the demographics of my audience. Spoilers, guys love red. Here’s an example data set. https://imgur.com/gallery/7OHIx
Last year, I ran a campaign for one of my shoe clients, and we used the pride of state consumers to grow his shoe business. I researched the best colours to use for different states and gave him a list, we put the state names across his shoes and marketed directly to them through instagram. It wasn’t long before his conversion metrics were soaring.
Here's an example report from one of my clients - https://prnt.sc/iisqv8

Value

I have worked with a lot of musicians, a big part of them started with low view, audio-only videos. I learnt quickly that for them to achieve success they had to provide value, so i told them to create videos. They did and then ta-da, they had 4500 views when they only had 200 view music videos before. For the next step, I even got them contacts with massive digital celebrities. My proudest connection having been ‘Ninja’ during the height of his fortnite campaign, I organised the marketing behind several viral Fortnite music parodies with now millions of views.

Trend riding

Make use of trends in your business. If something is so mainstream and big, why ignore it? In the past I have made use of the political trends in the American election with trump AND hillary brands on some of my clients products, with the pro trump and pro hillary supporters wanting to sport their political beliefs no matter the cost.
I see a lot of website based businesses underuse social media with broad attempts at Facebook ads and Instagram ads, ill go to digital marketing agencies and see they either have no social following or a huge botted one. It's a terrible idea to buy followers, if you want to cut corners then you should look at buying a smaller business with a bigger social following.
Here’s the impressions from a tweet I made on the first day of creating a company a twitter platform and using trend riding and collaboration to grow it https://prnt.sc/huziu6 4K Impressions on one tweet in 15 minutes - we hit 80k impressions in the first day. I did this from simply mimiking the formula for success from a similiar company account, i don't want to try change the magic formula for success.

Direction

Adapt

You really do have to stay in touch with your business to know what's working and what isn't, companies like Toys R Us refused to do that and stuck with huge stockpiles of star wars toys and then they collapsed. Blockbusters where ahead of the curve for digital movies and then they refused to change, Netflix changed and Netflix won. Amazon learnt to use online selling and left companies like Tescos with financial crisis.
The big boom in marketing that I’ve seen is social media marketing, marketers can create huge social following for companies and use that platform to sell content for extremely low costs in comparison to the tens of thousands it costs to use other platforms such as radio. Social media marketing has become somewhat controversial, but it is important to always stay open minded.

Collaboration** & Viral content

I can not stress the importance of working with other people. Every billionaire i know of has had a mentor, every big company success story had business partners. I've had far more success in clients who have listened to me and done collaborative work with digital celebs, with a dog product business making thousands of sales when they worked with vlogger Zoella and gave her free products.
Viral content is very important because every Youtuber with over 1 million subscribers has started off big and managed to keep it big, nobody grinded and slowly rose up at an equal exponent. Hard work is fine but being consistent and mixing it up, copying the viral content of others is an easy way of bringing in secondary viewership and traffic. Pewdiepie, the biggest youtuber on the planet, started with viral horror content. Ninja, the biggest streamer, grinded for 7 years but only truly struck gold with the virality of Fortnite. So it makes sense to repeat their methods.

Key words

It is an obvious thing to say but it's neglected, key words are very important. I had a crypto business come to me and ask why their site wasnt doing very well, and i looked through it and saw they never mentioned anything beyond bitcoin. Bitcoin is a very expensive key word to market, with costs of the raw word being as high as 38$ per click. I had to bring them down to earth with harsh truths, i rewrote their entire site using SEM tools in mind - with key words and phrases like "Altcoin exchange" and using the names of the top 100 altcoins across the site.

SEO

Search Engine Optimisation is the name given to increasing the value and raw volume of your organic traffic. A successful website always wants as many of the most likely consumer base to encounter their product because that’s the hardest point of digital business. Your websites SEO is determined by crawlers which regularly check up on your website and update their index which is later used by an algorithm to order results when someone ‘googles’ something.
Today I’m going to be talking you through some key points about SEO that I personally audit for businesses.

Domains

Https://Www.Example.Com is an example of something we call a ‘root domain’ which is made up of protocol (https://) subdomain (www.) domain name (example) and top-level domain (.com). These are the basic parts. It’s important that the protocol is the best and safest it can be or else google will punish you. It’s also important your domain name and top-level domain are appropriate and readable. The words used in your subdomain can also affect how customers interpret your website, websites can be named after their market base for easy marketing. In addition, the age and previous registrations of your domain matter. It’s important these factors are appropriately considered in your website. Be minimal with subdomains.

Targeting

Google knows where it’s users are and what they’re using from their browser data, IPs and MACs and then matches them with websites in their areas or appropriate to searches. Ever since the infamous 2016 update ‘Possum’ it is not something you can ignore. Even jobs based websites had to use the meta data ‘Jobs Schema’ (from 2017 onwards) to tell google where your website was focused. Location specific landing pages matter. You have to pay credence to DNS (domain name server) and Glue to keep TTL (time to load) and mobile in mind, especially with more mobile users than ever. CMS (customs) is also part of this discussion: themes and plugins are a factor in Google’s ranking. One way to improve TTL is through CDN’s and we have to consider how we approach them to rank better. Sometimes, you might face penalties and there are ways to know; that’s a little too hard to explain here but PM me for more.

Content

Nobody loves a book more than google. Robots will read all your website, even the stuff humans don’t bother with. Things like duplication will annoy Google who doesn’t like reading things twice. CTA’s (buttons basically) have to go somewhere nice and if they don’t work properly google will punish you. Human biases are important too. The user experience will effect their retention and Google will clock that. There’s also lots of minor things that can stack up: Filenames (help you rank on Images) Thin content (Google sees it as lazy) phrase diversity (spamming key words is noticed) and URL structures too! Make sure your in and outbound links are healthy as well as having keyword mapping where you assign the correct words to the right pages. Make sure your anchor texts (viewable when linking) are descriptive yet succinct. And finally: link velocity, a healthy eco system of link building is important to longevity and renewed SEO.

Technical Stuff.

Consistent anchor elements are important to prevent 404s. Don’t use abbreviations with naming files and folders. Limit use of dates for file folder names. Your site architecture has to be simple and close to the root domain so the click depth isn’t too great! Links to and from your site can’t be dead ends, and use breadcrumbs! Be wary of canonical issues from similar content across multiple URLs. Treat Cookies and Session IDs properly, privacy laws are ever changed and mismatching them can be dangerous. There’s lots more to go into like header status codes, site maps, GSC Crawl Errors but Reddit has a text limit so I’ve deleted some of my post.

PM me if interested in my services or with questions.

BTC and XRP – Breakout To The Downside Seen
BTC/USD
Last Friday the price of Bitcoin came down to around $10455 area from its second attempt to surpass the $10931 level which ended as a failure. Since this drop of around 4.5% occurred we have seen the formation of an ascending channel in which the price action bounced until today when a minor breakout started developing after the price reached $10818 at its highest.

Monero Support Are They All Volunteer?

TLdr: Can we donate to support "staff"? Should we?? Monero, Bitcoin, Blockchain - other. Or are they already 'paid'? Most forums who help with malware discourage donating to the helper. Crypto is similar? (**Crypto** is just a catchall term for me.)
I had my first minor issue with Crypto. I am receiving support in the proper group. Are the people there all volunteer? I use crypto because I enjoy knowing there alternatives to the USD. I do not know but think we might be able to do it better than government. Supporting how I can is how I find out. I believe the stronger we make these alternatives the better we all are. I make purchases from businesses who accept these currencies and simply store some coin. I will transfer some to friends, "here use this" ...... "learn about it" with that belief in mind (more is better).
The more people who come the more people who are like me who may lack detailed knowledge. So, I assume the more support tickets we open. Is there a way to donate to the people who help? I do not have a lot of money and less coin. I still feel people who give us their time should be helped. I think if they receive any compensation/"thank you" they will be able to give a bit more time or focus. I use coin so infrequently I am sure many deserve a higher priority with trouble shooting. But, I am bias, my problems are BIG! Possibly donations might help there. Is this being done? Does Monero just take care of them? Is it similar to malware support where donations are discouraged OR something else.

So, you want to get into crypto. Which coins should you buy?

So, you want to get into crypto? Which coins should you buy?
The five major fiat currencies in the world are USD, EUR, YEN, CHF, GBP. These account for almost all the world’s international trade. In many parts of the world one or more of these currencies are readily accepted, even if the local currency is mandated by the government.
According to Coinmarketcap, there are 5787 cryptocurrencies and tradable tokens out there. Quite a few are jokes or scams. Some have been abandoned by their developers. Many have so few users and so little trade that they can barely be said to exist at all. At most, only a tiny handful, maybe only one or two, could ever possibly succeed. How should a newcomer choose?
Let’s start with some basics: what is your aim here? Do you want to make some money? Or are you “in it for the technology”? Rule one: be clear about why you’re getting in. In other words, what do you want to get out of this? Be super clear about your exit strategy, whatever it may be. And stick to it.
Next, risk: Crypto is a new and highly risky asset class. Out of 5800 coins, most of them (and possibly all of them) will go to zero. How would you feel if your stake was gone—really gone—lost forever? Do not put in more than you are prepared to lose.
But prices are rising along with the animal spirits. You want in. Which coin should you buy?
If making some money is your aim, then perhaps the central consideration is liquidity. If you don’t understand what the word liquidity means in the financial context, take 30 minutes and find out. In short, imagine you decide to sell your car – at the exact same time that most people with your model are selling theirs too. Lots of competition and relatively few buyers = low price. Or let’s say you want to buy a house in a particular (and popular) neighborhood, but there’s only one property for sale. The seller can name their price. Poor liquidity means you pay too much for something on the way in, and you sell it too cheap on the way out.
While you’re researching liquidity, look up the notion of opportunity cost too. This is the idea that when we spend money on X we cannot then spend that same money on anything else. Which assets are you not investing in? Could there be a better bet?
There is also the so-called founders’ effect, and the concept of the evolutionarily stable strategy, not to mention any number of cognitive biases to watch out for.
Cut to the chase: a large fraction, at least, of your investment should be in those coins with the best liquidity—Bitcoin and Ethereum. Together these two coins account for the vast majority of all crypto trading and liquidity provision (excluding stablecoins, which do not appreciate). No matter how brilliant you think other systems might be (and a few really are), they are very, very unlikely to unseat either Bitcoin or Ethereum. If you’re savvy and skillful (and lucky) you might do well trading minor coins, which can have very high price volatility, but remember that most traders lose money. The biggest wins are almost always made by those who buy and hold, and who cash out at a pre-determined point.
Finally, take your time, listen to some old hands, and ask questions here, especially if you suspect a scam. There are some really great people on this board (some of whom will disagree with at least some of what I’ve just written). A diversity of honest and experienced opinion can only help you. I would also recommend the Youtube channels of Benjamin Cohen https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRvqjQPSeaWn-uEx-w0XOIg and Andreas Antonopoulos https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJWCJCWOxBYSi5DhCieLOLQ as a start. Good luck.

BTC and XRP – Decline Seen Could Continue

Updated FAQ-Pre 420

Frequently Asked Questions

Here you will find our Frequently Asked Questions. Hopefully you can find the answer to your question here!

Payments

How can I pay for my order? We currently accept credit/debit cards. We do not currently accept Bitcoin, although we are implementing a system for Bitcoin payments.
My payment was declined, what can I do? It isn’t always obvious to us why a payment was declined. It could be something as simple as using the wrong billing address, or something more complex such as your bank restricting which regions you can purchase from.
My payment was declined but charges are still showing on my statement, why? These are pending payments - your bank will assign funds that were to be used in the order transaction. These funds will be made available to you once our payment provider communicates that the transaction was declined to your bank. You can usually contact your bank to have these funds returned quicker.
What currency do you charge in? Our base currency is USD. Your bank will deal with any currency conversions on their end, this could lead to minor discrepancies between your order total and what your bank eventually charges you.

Ordering

How do I know my order has actually gone through? There are three ways you can use to double check. - If, once your order is complete, you receive an order number on the screen. - You will be sent a confirmation email of your order. (If you can’t find it, check your Junk folder as it might be hiding in there.) - If you log in to your account, the order will show with the status ‘Processing’
Can I add something to an existing order? I’m afraid not. If you'd like to buy new items, you'll need to place a new order.
What is the current status of my order? You can log in to your account to see the status of your order. It will be marked as one of the following: - Processing: This means we have received payment from you and your order is in line waiting to be packed and shipped. - Packed: This means your order has been packed is ready for shipment shortly. You will receive another email notification when your order reaches this step. - Complete: This means your order has been shipped and a tracking number (if using a tracked service) is available for you. You will receive email notification of this status along with your tracking number.
I've provided the wrong address. What can be done? If your order has yet to be sent out, please send an immediate email to us via our Contact Form, or reply to your order confirmation email. If you order has already been shipped you will need to contact the shipping company as soon as possible.
How do I cancel my order? Before your order ships, you can use our Contact Form or reply to your order confirmation to cancel your order.
What voucher codes do you have? We don’t currently offer any voucher codes - we may intermittently offer them for Newsletter subscribers and you can sign up for that HERE.
Your X store doesn't have a strain that I'm looking for, can I order from one of your other stores? Unfortunately, we can only ship to the region specific to each store.

Shipping

Where do you ship to? We ship to most countries in the world! You can select your store based on your location. We do not ship to the following countries: Libya, Turkey, Russia, Somalia, South Africa & Yemen. This due to restrictions with our mailing system in reaching these countries.
How long will it take to ship my order? We aim to ship all orders within 2-3 business days of receiving payment. Sometimes delays can occur when we receive large quantities of orders at the same time.
How long will my order take to arrive? USA: You will receive a USPS tracking number once your order ships. USPS usually delivers within 3-5 days. Canada: If you used a tracked service you will receive a tracking number. Shipping normally takes 3-10 business days, depending on where in the country you are located. Our orders ship from Ontario. UK: Your order will normally arrive 1-2 business days after you receive your shipping email. EU: Orders can take 3-10 business days to arrive, depending on the shipping option chosen. Delays can often occur and shipping could potentially take much longer. A tracked service is highly recommended for EU shipping. Worldwide: It really depends on where you are located in the world. We only offer a tracked service for worldwide orders so you can keep a track of where your order is located.

Strains

Do you sell autoflowers? We ONLY sell autoflowers! All of our strains & freebies are autoflowering and feminized.
What strain would you recommend for me? We don’t provide personal recommendations for strains - all the information we have about strains is detailed on each product page, or you can click HERE to read through our Strain Guide which should provide more insight. Otherwise, you can join our community on Reddit.
When will X strain be back in stock? We can’t always give exact dates on when certain strains will be back in stock, unfortunately. We will announce across social media and via our Newsletter when we have a strain back in stock.

Freebies

How many freebies will I receive with my order? Our freebie tiers are as follows: $15-49: 2 free seeds $50-99: 5 free seeds $100-149: 7 free seeds $150+: 15 free seeds We don’t currently offer additional freebies for orders with a higher value, you can always place multiple order to maximise your freebies though!
Are my freebies automatic? Yes, all of our offerings, including freebies are both automatic and feminsied.
Which freebies will I receive? Our freebies are lucky dip, you may receive anything from our current catalogue, extinct or out of stock strains, or exclusive freebie crosses!
Can you provide some strain information on the freebies I received? Possibly, but not always. If it is a current or past catalogue strain, the information will be on our website. If your freebie is an exclusive freebie cross, these are F1 and untested so we don’t have information on them. If you grow them out and want to provide that information though you can do through our Contact Form. Some of these crosses may find their way into the catalogue if enough people love them!

Contact

How can I contact you? If you have a question for us you can use our Contact Form
Are you active on Social Media? Yes! We have a presence on the following sites: Instagram Reddit AFN

BTC and XRP – Will the breakout continue?

BTC and XRP – Will the breakout continue?
BTC/USD
From yesterday’s low at $11807, the price of Bitcoin increased by 5.76% and came up to $12487 at its highest point breaking out from the significant horizontal resistance level above the psychologically interesting level of $12000. Since then we have seen a minor retracement to $12224 with the price currently being traded at $12307 but it looks like it started increasing again as a minor local higher high is being made.

On the merits of not sweating the small stuff

TLDR: Unless you’re a day trader, it’s unhealthy to pay close attention to minor market movements. Consider investing time, energy and attention span into your health, skills, hobbies or various aspects of the ecosystem by participating in the test-nets, getting ready to stake or advocating for Ethereum in a constructive (non-Maxi, positive, patient) manner.
A substantial amount of posts in the daily seem to be reacting to or bemoaning small scale jitters.
Anything below 30% in either direction is negligible if you’re operating on the assumptions that:
If you don’t share these assumptions & the implicit conclusion that we’ll see substantial (10x) price appreciation in the next 24 months or so, fair enough. Perhaps it'd be a good idea to self-label posts with “SHORT TERM" or "TRADING.”
But if you do share these assumptions, little of the daily churn is worth brain or emotional cycles.
I read a fair amount of hand-wringing over the BTC ratio, lack of appreciation after encouraging news or speculation. These sentiments strike me as un-productive.
None of this is meant to chastise or gate-keep. Everybody is entitled to post what they feel like, and we all make choices what we ready & engage with. Please don't feel attacked if you recognize bits of yourself in the previous paragraphs.
I’m simply suggesting that it might be beneficial to re-allocate our attention spans.
Good luck & godspeed!

17 planning financially for near future

Hello

I'm currently a 17 year old high school student planning financially for the near future.

Ok so here's my plan and current situation: (Polish Złoty conversion to USD from the day of writing of this post [23 June 2020 7:49 AM, 1 usd = 3.95 pln)

Background:

As of writing of this post I have 3500 PLN ( 886.83 USD) and by the time I turn 18 I'll have around 7500 PLN ( 1,900.65 usd) just from the gov's money (500+ program, I made a deal with mom that I get 50% of that) and money I'll get for christmas and my 18th birthday (basing that off off what I got last year (700 pln for christmas).

Summer plans + rest of the 2020:

I'll try to get a job during summer and earn about 2500 PLN ( 634.08 usd) so that I end up with around 10000 PLN ( 2,536.30 usd). The summer job will likely be hard to get but even with 10 pln/h ( 2.54 usd/h) which is pretty much the lowest wage, I'll only need to work around 250 hours to get the 2500 PLN I'm aiming for so I'll still have some free time in the summer and I'll also pay 0% tax since you don't pay tax in Poland up to 8000 PLN ( 2,029.36 usd)

I also want to build up a portfolio (about 10 works) throughout summer since I'm trying to become a graphic designer.

Plans after turning 18:

After I get all the paperwork done (Mainly getting an ID) which should happen by the end of February 2021 since My 18th birthday is 30th January, I'm planning on setting up a Paypal account, searching for the right banking offer and making an account on a freelance website.

I'd like to work weekends about 4 hours per day so 8 hours per weekend doing graphic design so that I get some commissioned work into my portfolio as well as see how much I earn. If it goes well enough I'll likely have to register a single man company / self employed.

Also the 10000 PLN I would have by then would come into play. I'd like to split it by percent and start investing. Right now I'm thinking of.

-Savings account

-Bitcoin trading (I have some experience and generally know the way market moves, I could make profit pretty much every time with my technique except that'd be just like 3-4 trades in a year and the income would be pretty low)

-Investing in something with high return (that isn't basically gambling) I'm thinking of investing in loans since from what I read 10% yearly is the low yet I'd need to research more as it seems to be heavily regulated

-Possibly Crypto staking, lending, dividends (I mostly mean NEXO, am already using it but I barely have 20 usd in assets there)

-I'm also keeping an eye on real estate since I'm seeing a lot of new projects in my city marketed as a way to invest

Lifestyle and expenses:

Just a debit card for 3.90 PLN a month (0.99 usd) and no cost if I make 2 purchases (can be lower than the fee )

Other than that I don't spend money on anything except maybe water and sodas during summer. I'll be able to live with mom as long as I'm learning at school and even later but then I'd have to pay a part of the bills.

My mom and dad will soon be divorcing, he'll likely take some stuff from home but it won't really impact me, however he'll likely have to pay alimony to mom. After they divorce I'm planning to help with lowering the costs by changing lightbulbs to LED, putting a shower curtain so that I can take showers instead of baths and some other minor things that'd help with lowering the bills.

Other random info:

I'm not planning on doing a driver's license since I can rely mostly on public transit, my bike and simply going on foot. (When I'm still attending high school, mom will probably pay for my transit ticket)

I have goals to get to a million dollars by 24 years of age, that's why I'm searching for best returns in short time (I want this million so that I can buy a house in L.A lol)

I'm not planning on going to college/university because I don't want to spend another 3-5 years in the schooling system and I feel like it would be a waste of time in my case, however, if I fail with my financial ventures I may go there.

Skills:

Languages in CEFR levels: English - C1, will be passing the C2 exam in about a year as of making this post, French ~A2, planning on improving over the summer, probably will get to B1 or B2, Polish C2 (Native language)

Graphic Design skills, quite fluent in Paint.NET, learning Adobe Illustrator

Video Editing skills (somewhat basic but I feel comfortable / at ease using the program and can learn fast), program is Sony Vegas

Books read:

How to Win Friends and Influence People - Dale Carnegie (around 70%)

P.S Wow this ended up longer than I expected and also wanted to say I'll likely edit since I could've forgotten something
PPS- I'm posting this after 2 days since I originally wrote this cuz couldn't post because of wrong title and then reddit was freaking out when I was trying to post with correct title

A few thoughts as to where we are in this crazy world.

I was in a discussion with a person recently who said "dow jones is now where it was in January, do you really believe the US economy is as good as 4 months ago?"
This was my response. I would really like to know if there are any others out there who see things like I do... (sorry for the wall of text)
The dow is a composite of the valuations of companies over the next 5 years.
The real question is do you believe that these companies lost over 50% of their earning potential for the next 5 years in a matter of a month?
The dow is pricing in the future. It seems that market movers are betting that in the next 5 years things will be moving way beyond where they are today.
Everybody looks a the money printing going out of control and wonders why we are still experiencing relative deflation... In reality the typical individual doesn't understand just how bad things really are. Do you even realize how much notional cash is tied up in derivatives/options/financial instruments? The real shit hits the fan when BANKS start to lose confidence in their own scam and currency that was held up in derivatives exits into stocks, gold, bitcoin faster than shit through a goose.
You really need to stop thinking of everything in terms of USD and start thinking of everything you own and how much real value does it have. You have to remember USD or any other currency is just another asset (quickly becoming a liability). As a currency, it's value is supposed to be maintained as a stable measure, however as an asset its value does fluxuate albeit very predictable and minor. When that changes it will be all at once. The common person will not have the opportunity to exit the currency when the big derivative accounts are liquidated all at once.
Someone asked me what the next "Big Short" movie will be about... This is it. The next big short is cash. Everyone thought the protagonist of that movie was a lunatic for shorting real estate in 2006, the same goes for people shorting cash today. Cash will be king, until it's not. Cash doesn't go out with a whimper it goes out with a BANG!
